Le nom du projet signifie « hautes-terres où souffle le vent du nord » (alt~: haut + Boreas) en référence à un petit pays montagneux. ALTABOREA est un projet secondaire de Bards in Exile.

ALTABOREA is an alternative music project born from the merger of the demo projects « Jurawolf » and « Arkay Synthesizer ». The project’s name means « highlands where the north wind blows » (alt~: high + Boreas), referring to a small, mountainous country. ALTABOREA is a side project of Bards in Exile.
